Summer Religious Education Click here for Summer RE Registration Form The religious education program at Resurrection is expanding to include a new option for parents. Summer religious education classes will be conducted Monday through Thursday during the weeks of June 14 and June 21. The summer curriculum features 8 days of classroom activity (8 AM to noon each day). Religious education during the summer will include grade-specific music and art activities to enhance the learning experience. The summer session is offered as an alternative to the standard religious education program that is conducted on Wednesdays between September and May. This option provides an alternative for parents with scheduling conflicts during the school year, or for parents who believe that the morning sessions during the summer provide a more conducive learning environment for their children. The summer program is a great blend of prayer, instruction, and community building for families that can be committed to a condensed, more intense program that addresses the learning objectives that are standard for our religious education program. Students that complete the summer religious education program will have been introduced to the same grade-specific concepts addressed in the standard program conducted on Wednesday nights during the school year. We will offer summer religious education for students in grades 1 through 6. Every teacher in the summer program will be an experienced catechist. We will limit class size to 14 students per classroom. Minimum class size will be 6 students at a grade level. Registration for the summer program will begin on Wednesday, February 3 at 4:30 PM in Resurrection School, and end at 7 PM that night. Registration will remain open in February until classes are filled. Please read the reverse side of this letter for additional information. Parents, please review the Parent Covenant linked to this announcement. Please contact Joe Hancock with any questions you might have specific to the summer RE program. Dates of summer religious education classes: Monday, June 14 through Thursday, June 17, and Monday, June 21 through Thursday, June 24. Class times: 8 AM to Noon each day Tuition: $150 per student. $20 discount if tuition is paid at registration during February. Frequently asked questions:
