Nov. 30 - LED LIGHTS SHINE BRIGHT
Tired of the tangle and poor quality of “cheap” Christmas lights? As your old strings wear out, replace them with this green option: LOOK for LED LIGHTS. These lights are everywhere in Dubuque now. LED lights last for up to 25,000-50,000 hours. They use a fraction of the energy of traditional incandescents and are safer because they’re cool to the touch. 

Here’s a sampling of just one one color available, indoor/outdoor “little” white lights:
• Philips, 60 bulbs, $11.99 at Target
• GE,  70 bulbs, $9.99 at Walgreens
Look for the LED logo on the box,  Deck the halls and tree, feel better being greener.
